Preamble: In recognition of a need for unity and for defining critical standards for the Azalean people, the following formats are treated as the national standard.
1. Formats
(a) Liquids shall be measured in litres, with exceptions on Beer and Milk which can be measured in pints.
(b) Dates shall always be recorded in dd-mm-yyyy or a derivation (yyyy-mm-dd, dd-mm-yy etc). MM-dd-yyyy will never be acceptable.
(c) Distances shall be measured in Miles, unless when talking about a run in which case kilometres shall be used arbitrarily.
(d) People shall be measured in cm or feet and inches.
(e) Fun and shall be measured in Crumplesnatches.
2. Punishments for Failure to Meet Requirements
(a) Citizens who do not follow these formats shall be publicly shamed for their failure to recognise the superior formats.
Enactment: This law shall be set to be enacted immediately upon its passage
