SERVER POLICIES
Inadmissible Evidence Policy
In our commitment to maintaining fairness and transparency within our community, we adhere to strict guidelines regarding the acceptance of evidence in server rule enforcement. Due to the potential for tampering and violation of privacy, we do not accept voice chat or direct message (DM) transcripts as valid evidence for rule violations.
Explanation: This policy is crucial for safeguarding player privacy and preventing fraudulent or otherwise invalid evidence
Integrity Preservation
> Our primary goal is to uphold the integrity of our server environment. Accepting voice chat or DMs as evidence introduces significant risks of manipulation, which undermines the fairness of our disciplinary process.
Privacy Considerations
> We respect the privacy of our community members. Voice chat recordings may capture personal conversations and sensitive information without consent, violating individuals' privacy.
Consistency and Reliability
> Ensuring a consistent and reliable enforcement process is crucial for maintaining trust amongst our playerbase. By excluding voice chat and DMs as evidence, we uphold a standard that prioritizes fairness and accuracy in rule enforcement
Exceptions: Certain exceptions may need to be made in order to keep the community safe
Advertisements
> Instances of advertising other servers unaffiliated with CityRP through DMs may be considered a breach of server rules. In such cases, DM evidence may be admissible to support the enforcement of our anti-advertising policies.
Extreme Rule Violations
> In situations involving severe rule violations that pose significant harm to the community or server environment, exceptions may be made at the discretion of server moderators or administrators.
We encourage all players to report rule violations using in-game chat or messages sent over official channels such as affiliated discords and forum topics, accompanied by any relevant screenshots or video recordings. Any questions or concerns regarding this policy may be directed to staff via Discord ticket. This approach helps us maintain a secure and accountable environment for everyone.
Should you have any question or concern regarding a rule or policy, reach out to staff via a ticket through discord.
RP Nations
In CityRP, players drive the narrative, with foreign NPC-led nations serving as integral components of the server. Explore the Wiki to uncover the rich cultures and stories of these nations, each adding its unique flavor to the world of CityRP. As the storyline of CityRP progresses, players may unveil more about the countries and their roles in shaping the community's vibrant tapestry. You can learn about each country by visiting their wiki page.
Regalis
Overview: Regalis is a large, long-standing nation led by Queen Eleanora the Peacemaker. This country boasts some of the earliest signs of human life documented in the world, and its civilization also has one of the longest continuous histories. In the present, Regalis is a constitutional monarchy with a focus on tradition and culture.
Trade: Regalis primarily exports a variety of meticulously crafted items ranging from breathtaking jewelry to unforgiving weaponry. The majority of their exports are items that often require great attention to detail which makes them such valuable products. None can compare to the patience and steadiness of hand achieved by the country's craftsmen.
In regards to imports, the nation primarily purchases gasoline and animal meat and pelts. With taking such pride in their past, the nation has long since limited activities that harm its forests and their inhabitants. Therefore, they rely on other countries to supply these goods.
History:
Aedoris
Overview: Aedoris, under the reign of King Evald IV, stands as a nation distinguished by its prowess in industrialism, technological innovation, and arms manufacturing.
Trade: Aedoris primarily exports weaponry and manufactured goods.
History: Centuries ago, Aedoris was a land of fertile valleys and rugged mountains, inhabited by disparate tribes and factions. The many groups the made up the region were in constant conflict that was further fueled by the inability to understand one another. Amidst this, a priest named Aedon emerged. Aedon took it upon himself to learn from each group in the region and learn parts of their languages and cultures. With this knowledge, Aedon was able to unite the tribes under a single banner through diplomacy and strategic alliances, laying the groundwork for what would become the constitutional monarchy of Aedoris with Aedon being the first in the line of kings.
With stability came prosperity, and Aedoris rapidly began to flourish as the people came to understand one another and share their discoveries. With time, Aedoris became a center for technological innovation and industrial development. Blessed with abundant natural resources and a skilled workforce, Aedoris became renowned for its advancements in machinery, engineering, and arms manufacturing. As the nation industrialized, its influence expanded across the continent. Aedoris became a key player in regional politics and economics, leveraging its technological prowess to forge alliances and secure trade routes.
At a pivotal moment in Aedoris' history, a proposal for a royal marriage between the heirs of Aedoris and Regalis emerged. The union promised to unite two powerful nations and create a formidable alliance in an increasingly turbulent world. Negotiations between the two kingdoms commenced, but tensions arose over the terms of the agreement. While both sides saw the potential benefits of the merger, they struggled to reconcile their differences in governance, economic policies, and territorial ambitions. Despite extensive diplomatic efforts, an agreement could not be reached. The proposed merger ultimately collapsed, leaving both nations to pursue their paths independently.
In the aftermath of the failed merger, Aedoris doubled down on its commitment to industrialism and technological innovation. The setback served as a catalyst for renewed focus and investment in research and development. However, a competitor quickly arose as one of Regalis' colonies, what would become the nation of Speidon, began to quickly advance their technology which posed a threat to Aedoris' industry.
Faced with the rising technological prowess of Speidon, Aedoris recognized the need to maintain its competitive edge. The nation embarked on an ambitious initiative to bolster its research and development capabilities, investing heavily in education, infrastructure, and scientific exploration. Additionally, Aedoris heavily collaborated with other nations to corner the market in a strategic attempt to drive Speidon towards failure. However, attempts failed due to Regalis' international influence and their heavy support of Speidon. To supplement the places in which Aedoris lost business due to the rise of Speidon, the country invested in further developing their production of weaponry and manufactured goods.
In modern times, Aedoris and Speidon still continue to compete and as a result of this, there has been numerous technological discoveries over the past decades that have continued to reshape life as it is known. Their relationship continues to remain tense, but it has grown to be somewhat healthier as time has went on.

Harlowe
Overview: Harlowe, a maritime nation led by Archon Lyra Tidesinger, thrives on its expertise in fishing and maritime trade, exerting a profound influence along coastal routes and beyond.
Trade: Harlowe primarily exports fish.
History: The nation of Harlowe was born from the tumultuous embrace of the sea, its genesis shrouded in the mists of maritime legend. Legend tells of the ill-fated voyage of the Aurora's Grace, a majestic vessel that, amidst a raging tempest, foundered upon the jagged rocks of an uncharted isle. From the wreckage emerged survivors, resilient souls whose indomitable spirit would shape the destiny of a nation. Led by the unwavering determination of the Aurora's captain, Alexandros Contea, these survivors forged a new home from the salt and sand, laying the foundations of Harlowe amidst the wreckage of despair.
As the population burgeoned and the nation advanced, city-states dotted the expansive coastline, each becoming a beacon of Harlowean culture and prosperity. Once again, Harlowe embraced its maritime heritage, skillfully navigating trade routes and earning renown across the seas. Stepping boldly into the realm of transmarine transportation, Harlowe's ships traversed distant waters, ferrying goods acquired from foreign shores. In doing so, the nation not only forged closer ties with other lands but also solidified its status as a flourishing hub of commerce.
Harlowe's pivotal role in establishing dependable trade routes across the globe ushered in the Golden Age of Trade, a period of unparalleled prosperity and cultural exchange. As Harlowean vessels plied the seas, laden with the nation's coveted goods, they not only enriched their own coffers but also garnered commissions for facilitating commerce between distant shores. Through this symbiotic relationship, Harlowe opened doors to treasures previously unknown to other nations while fulfilling their essential needs. It was a transformative era marked by unprecedented connectivity, as nations bridged the gaps between them and entered into a new era of communication and collaboration.

History: Speidon is one of the younger nations of the world, born out of the desire for innovation.
Cartre continued to improve this design outside of his work and finally produced a perfected design that he could easily manufacture. Sharing the design with others in the small mining town, he quickly became the talk of the town. Gaining money from his invention, he decided to take his work outside of the small mining town. He traveled all around Regalis with Speidon at his side, selling his product, and he made quite the fortune. Eventually, word of Cartre's work reached the ears of the Queen who invited Cartre to a meeting with her.

History: Tavares's early history intertwines closely with The Book of Marcin, the religious scripture that forms the cornerstone of its cultural identity. While not verified by historians, its significance in shaping the ethos of Tavaren society cannot be understated. According to ancient lore, in the primordial mists of creation, Tavares emerged as the chosen sanctuary of Anjel Marcin, the Eternal Guide, and an integral part of a greater, enigmatic Creator. Blessed with bountiful earth and celestial favor, it became a realm where mortal and divine seamlessly coexisted. Anjel Marcin bestowed upon her people The Book of Marcin, a beacon of wisdom illuminating the path of righteousness. United in faith, Tavarens flourished, safeguarding their sacred land as custodians of peace and enlightenment across generations.

Completing Quests
Upon getting a trade job on the server, you will get a book titled "Journal" that will contain objectives for your job. This includes speaking with NPCs, collecting materials, and delivering some materials to NPCs. Each trade job has a varying number of quests, ranging from the amount of levels to the job (i.e. 1 level = 1 quest). Once you complete a quest, you advance your next level and can receive rewards. While your quest progress will save if you change jobs, you can only complete quests for the current job you hold.
When you enter into a conversation with an NPC for a quest, you are locked into it until you hit the SPACEBAR or right-click on the message in chat. As your objectives change, you will see a *Journal updated!* notification in chat, which will inform you that the book has changed.
For the job of Farmer, you will visit three NPCs throughout your quest:
- Amy
- Grocery Store Manager, located at -823, 68, 504

Objectives for quests can vary. If you are asked to deliver materials to an NPC, you must ensure you have the full amount in your inventory. For example, if the objective is to give 128 dirt to an NPC, then you must have at least 128 dirt in your inventory when you click on the NPC. You do not need to have the item equipped in your hand, as the NPC will take it directly from your inventory. Your progress will be tracked with a checkmark on the "Journal" book.
Please be advised that any abuse of the quest system is prohibited by the rules and may result in severe punishment. Since the quest system is in beta, any issues or exploits need to be reported to staff.

Turning a voucher into a vehicle loses its original ID which prevents you from using it for a quest.

Mechanics can improve their level by completing quests related to your job. As you advance your levels, you will be able to craft new vehicles. Throughout your quests, you will interact with a range of various NPC characters. This includes an eccentric mechanic, Barrett, who is the first character you will interact with.
As you advance levels, your job title will also change:
- Level 1: Armorer
- Level 2: Gunsmith
- Level 3: Gunslinger
For the job of Gunsmith, you will visit three NPCs throughout your quest:
- Barrett
- British Gun Dealer, located at -821, 68, 520
- Colt
- Lone Man, located at -710, 68, 948
In order to navigate to these NPCs with a live compass arrow, you can use the /gps-coords <coordinates> command. For example, if you are trying to locate Barett, you would do /gps-coords -816 68 536
Chef
Welcome to the Chef's Guide! As a trade job, you can enter the cooking trade at the university. Ensure that you wish to become a Chef - as you will be unable to switch trade jobs for at least 48 hours after becoming a miner.
Finding a Place to Cook
You can rent or buy a property in CityRP in order to start your cooking adventure!
Cooking Recipes
You can find all recipes for the Chef job via the /recipes command. In order to get some of the materials needed for the food, you need to obtain food from a farmer on the server. Farmers have exclusive access to certain crops (e.g. onions, strawberries, etc.) that are often involved in many Chef recipes.
Player Level System
Chefs can improve their level by completing quests related to your job. As you advance your levels, you will be able to travel to new locations in the mines. Throughout your quests, you will interact with a range of various NPC characters. This includes the university's cafeteria worker, Stanley, who is the first character you will interact with.
As you advance levels, your job title will also change:
- Level 1: Cook
- Level 6: Chef
- Level 11: Masterchef

More detailed guide to be made in the future!
Crime
Crime
Welcome to the Crime Guide! While this is not an official job in the game, you can spend countless hours up to devious hijinks and tomfoolery! With CityRP's proprietary CityCrime plugin, players are able to participate in heists, muggings, robbery, spice trafficking, gang wars, and more!
General Mechanics:
- After each crime is committed, the player is given "heat points".
- You can view your wanted level by running the /wanted command
- Heat points decrease by 1x per second
- Players will have 2 minutes after being murdered to run /911
- Players will be combat logged as the initiator for 45 seconds after first attacking another player.
- The Ministry of Justice will enforce crimes as the police, and laws/crimes can be found in the Criminal Code
- RDM Rules Apply (See on Rules page of the Wiki)
Gang Wars
Ever wanted to control the criminal underworld? On CityRP, you and your friends can create a gang and capture territories as a group!
How It Works:
Players can create/join a gang and capture the 2 control nodes (found at /gps start airstrip & /gps start warehouse). by spending the most amount of time in the area and controlling over 50% of the boss bar. However, if multiple gangs are in the node at the same time, only the one who was there first will fill up the bar. Therefore, if Gang A was there first and accumulating node points, Gang B would need to remove Gang A from the premises to start adding their node points to the bar. PVP is highly encouraged in these areas, and /911 reports are disabled in each of the nodes.
If a gang is able to win the control node, they will be granted exclusive permissions to craft Spices (ultra buffed herbs that will surely get citizens hooked on their long-lasting effects) and certain guns. Furthermore, if a gang member is wanted, standing in their control node will decrease their heat point count by 1.25x.
For every gang member in the control node, 1 point will be granted towards the boss bar every second. To improve the efficiency of this, players may level up their gangs for a price! The ratios for the four levels include:
- Level 1 (default): 1x Node Point per second
- Level 2 ($5,000): 1.25x Node Points per second
- Level 3 ($15,000): 2x Node Points per second
- Level 4 ($40,000): 2.5x Node Points per second
Commands:
- /gang create <name> - Create your gang
- /gang disband - Disband your gang
- /gang info - View your gang's members and level
- /gang invite <player> - Invite another player to your gang
- /gang top - View your gang's progress in each of the control nodes
- /gang joinaccept - Accept an invite from a gang
- /gang leave - Leave a gang
- /gang levelup - Boost your gang's control multiplier
Robberies and Heists
Sometimes, turning to crime is simply just the more economical choice for players on CityRP. Up to 4x a day, players are able to rob the Police Station Supply Room and Bank!
How It Works:
Every 5 hours players will be able to break into the Bank Vault and Police Supply Room:
- Bank Vault - Break the iron doors in the basement of the bank to start the robbery. You will have 60 seconds to break as many gold blocks as you can for between $75-200 per block.
- Police Supply Room - Walk into the supply room to start the robbery. You will have 60 seconds to open as many chests and complete as many mini games as you can for loot that is both default, and illegal items the police have impounded from other players.
Muggings
Every 10 minutes, players will have the opportunity to mug the players they murder for up to 0.5% of their balance by running the /rob command. (The 10 minute cooldown is currently a work in progress. As we configure it, we hope that you will honor code this feature in the meantime). Players will have 30 seconds after committing murder to rob their victims. As referenced above THE RDM RULE APPLIES HERE STILL
Spices
Players are able to obtain illicit substances, also known as "spices", for trade and recreational purposes. These can be obtained through mining grass, and you may find things like Copeam, Theriam, and other substances. The only way that you can harvest these spices is if you are in a gang that holds a control node. In addition to getting spices from growing these plants, you also get XP for it.
- Theriam: 15 minute grow time
- Lunar: 20 minute grow time
- Pluto: 25 minute grow time
Keep in mind once you've planted these spices, you won't be able to harvest them if your gang loses access to the control node.
